Senior member of the IEEE, he is a professor of Electronic Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC), Peru. In addition, he is an associate researcher at the Harvard University School of Engineering, USA, and a research professor at the University of New Mexico (UNM), USA. He obtained the degree, with honors, of Electronic Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) in 2004, and the degrees of MS and Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering at the University of New Mexico (UNM), USA, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. Experienced engineer with a profile of innovation, adaptability, creation, research, development and vocation to solve great challenges. Skills for the management and leadership of different work groups. Experience in the USA (Harvard, University of New Mexico, Air Force Research Labs, VisionQuest Bio) and Peru (UTEC, PUCP). Expert in digital video and image processing methods, reconfigurable hardware design, and engineering education. Experience as a principal investigator, project leader and founder of a startup. Courses
- Digital Image Processing: Digital image processing is the use of techniques, algorithms, models, and transforms applied to digital images that allow treatment, analysis, or extraction of the information at the pixel level.
- Thesis II in ECE II: The objective of the theoretical course is to evaluate the complete development process of the final project, presented in the course of Thesis 1. The course supervises that each project meets the minimum requirements requested in each program, according to the profile of the graduate. During the course, the student presents the progress of their projects to the whole class, to discuss and generate debate and continuous feedback. The course culminates with the thesis support process in front of a jury, according to the current regulations of the university.
