PhD obtained in Plant Genetics and Biotechnology, in the Postgraduate Program of CINVESTAV-National Polytechnic Institute-IPN, Mexico in 2009. Postdoctoral Studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), in 2009-2011. Postdoctoral stay in Synthetic Biology at Colorado State University (CSU), Fort Collins, USA for 5 years. Professor of Biotechnology Engineering (Tec de Monterrey), in 2014-2016. He currently works as a full-time professor in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Engineering and Technology- UTEC, Lima- Peru.Work position

- Biodesign: The class provides engineering, medicine and business students with a comprehensive roadmap to identify, invent, and implement new medical devices, processes, diagnostics, and other technologies aimed at generating value and new standards for patient healthcare The course is introductory to the development of "real world" biomedical technology.
- Biological Systems: The theoretical-practical course seeks to explain the organic behavior of biological systems in terms of cellular components and their interactions, through the use of mathematical and computational strategies. Cells and tissues function as a system, where systems biology seeks to support the mathematical understanding of metabolic networks and cell signaling, both in health and in disease.
