Associate professor at the University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC). Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and Chemical Engineer from National Engineering University (Peru). Member of the Peruvian College of Engineers. Senior member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and advisor to the student chapter of AIChE at UTEC. He has extensive research experience published in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals (Scopus/ISI). UTEC Award for Best Teacher 2019. Eponymous of the 2014-II promotion of Chemical Engineering of the UNI. He has worked as a professor at UNI and Continental University. Areas of interest: modeling, simulation and engineering of chemical processes, molecular simulation.

Chemical Process Analysis: The subject, of a theoretical-practical nature, provides an introduction to principles and techniques of fundamental calculations in chemical engineering, representation of processes in flow diagrams, basic process modeling and resolution of matter and energy balances in reactive and non-reactive processes.
Chemical Process Design: The subject, of a theoretical-practical nature, challenges the student to integrate the technical principles learned in the other subjects, with simple concepts of economics for the synthesis and evaluation of the integrated design of a chemical process, considering environmental and social constraints.
Final Project of Chemical Engineering I: With the course of Final Project of career I the formation of the student is completed, who must demonstrate that he has acquired a series of competences considered fundamental in his profession, as well as more specific ones on the subject of work.
Final Project of Chemical Engineering II: Final Project of career II seeks to guide students in the development of their research work by applying -initiated in the previous course of Final Project of career I- the curriculum component of engineering design, which is understood as the ideation of a system, component or process that satisfies the real needs of society: a decision-making process (often iterative), in which the basic sciences, Mathematics and engineering sciences apply to convert resources optimally to meet these established needs.
