We congratulate the student of Bioengineering, Rosario Jacome, who this month, had the opportunity to participate in the InnoLabSalud event, organized by the National Institute of Child Health.
During the day everything related to the world of 3D printing was exposed, which is a technology of vital importance in the field of surgical planning, the making of splints and medical training.
Rosario tells us: “Initially, I confess that I faced certain fears about the handling of 3D printers and software. However, I have had the opportunity to learn a lot, both in the university laboratory and in my current work at the institute. Although I am still in the process of learning, the medical approach that I am acquiring allows me to have a better vision of the projects that I want to carry out in the future”
